My name is Matt Barrett- historian, animator, illustrator, and caricaturist. I hold a PhD in history from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Beginning in the centenary year of the First World War, I started this blog to detail the biographies, experiences and personalities of each and every CEF battalion commander.
